We take what researchers know about how the mind works and turn it into something you can actually use — in your relationships, your work, and the way you talk to yourself at 2am.
Most people's only exposure to psychology is a buzzword in a LinkedIn post or a diagnosis in a group chat. The actual research — patient, tested, often surprising — rarely makes it past the journals it's published in.— The Psych Lens team
The Psych Lens exists to close that gap. We read the Research papers so you don't have to, and we write about them like we're explaining it to a friend, not defending a thesis.
Hi! I'm Bhavya, a 10th-grade student who has spent her whole life moving and traveling. While I'm not entirely sure what my future holds—whether that's neuroscience, psychology, fashion design, or something completely different—I know one thing for sure: understanding psychology is invaluable. No matter what path I choose, learning how human behavior works helps me navigate situations, understand others, and most importantly, understand myself. That's why I created Psych Lens—a community where we can explore psychology and life together.
Hey, I'm Aarna, a Grade 10 student and an aspiring psychologist with a passion for psychology. I'm currently working on a psychology research paper for publication, and through the process, I realised how difficult academic psychology can feel to access, especially as a student. I believe psychology is something everyone can benefit from. It helps us understand ourselves, others, and the world around us. That's why I wanted to create The Psych Lens: a space to make psychology less intimidating, more interesting, and accessible.
Our aim is to make psychology more accessible, engaging, and relevant to young people. We want to create a space where psychology feels less intimidating and more connected to everyday life — whether through new research, fictional characters, pop culture, or human behaviour.
We hope to build a community of curious young people who can explore psychology, question what they see online, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them.
